Corn Gaining on Thursday Recovery
Front month corn futures prices are up 1 3/4 to 2 3/4 cents at midday following three down days. For March, futures fell 12 cents over the last three sessions. USDA announced a private export sale of 336,500 MT of 20/21 corn to unknown destinations via the daily reporting system. Due to the Monday holiday, USDA weekly Export Sales was pushed back to Friday. EIA data is also set for a Friday release, after a federal holiday for the inauguration. The national average cash corn price from cmdtyView was $4.99/bu.
