Broiler/Fryer: Weekly Fryers Available for Marketing (Wed)
Based on the preliminary chick placements, the number of fryers
available for marketing during the week ending 19-Sep-20 is
estimated at 161.9 million head. This compares to 163.3
million head the previous week and to 171.9 million head the
same week a year ago, when the slaughter was 174.4 million head
and the national weighted average price was 83.24 cents per pound.
