National Feedstuffs Market Review

The USDA Market News Service reports fed ingredient prices for the week ending 
Tuesday March 2, 2021 were mixed. Soybean Meal was mixed 8.20 lower to 0.20 higher. 
Cottonseed Meal was steady. Whole Cottonseed was steady to 10.00 higher. Canola Meal 
was steady to 18.20 lower. Linseed Meal was 15.00 lower. Sunflower Meal was 10.00 to 
25.00 lower. Crude Soybean Oil was 190 to 387 points higher. Crude Corn Oil was 50 
points higher. Ruminant Meat and Bone Meal was steady to 15.00 higher. Ruminant Blood 
Meal was steady to 50.00 higher. Feather Meal was steady to 15.00 higher. Yellow Corn 
Hominy was steady to 18.00 higher. Corn Gluten Feed was mixed, 10.00 lower to 10.00 
higher. Corn Gluten Meal was steady to 20.00 higher. Distillers Dried Grain were 
mixed, 22.00 lower to 15.00 higher. Wheat Millfeeds were steady to 13.00 higher. 
Wheat Millrun was steady to 15.00 higher.

Oilseeds: The March Soybean Meal futures closed 3.20 lower at 423.30, May closed 4.30 
lower at 421.70 and July closed 2.70 lower at 420.00. The March Soybean Oil futures 
closed 201 points higher at 51.27 cents per pound, May closed 129 points higher at 
49.66 cents per pound and July closed 119 points higher at 48.69 cents per pound.     
The Rail delivery of high protein Soybean Meal in Central Illinois was 0.40 to 1.40 
lower from 419.70-421.70; Indiana-Ohio was mixed, 8.20 lower to 0.20 higher from 
431.70-438.30; Iowa was 3.20 to 4.80 lower from 412.30-421.70; Kansas City was 1.80 
to 2.20 lower from 432.30-433.30; Minneapolis truck was 0.80 to 2.80 lower from 
408.70-419.70, St. Louis was steady from 458.00-463.00; Memphis was 4.80 to 9.80 
lower from 441.70-446.70; Portland was steady to 1.80 lower from 471.70-488.00; BN 
Santa Fe/Union Pacific delivered Chino Valley was mixed, 4.80 lower to 0.20 higher 
from 476.70-491.70. Cottonseed Meal FOB the Central San Joaquin Valley in California 
was steady from 360.00-380.00; Kansas City was not available; St. Louis was not 
available; Memphis was steady at 460.00. Whole Cottonseed FOB the Central San Joaquin 
Valley in California was steady to 10.00 higher from 415.00-425.00; delivered to 
Portland was steady to 5.00 higher from 435.00-470.00; Memphis was 5.00 higher at 
330.00. Offers for nearby delivered Canola Meal 34 to 36 percent protein, delivered 
to Portland was 6.80 to 12.00 lower from 356.70-380.00; FOB Central San Joaquin 
Valley truck was steady from 370.00-380.00; Minneapolis was 4.80 to 18.20 lower from 
323.30-351.70. Linseed Meal, 34 pct protein was 15.00 lower at 310.00 with limited 
trade in the North Dakota-Minnesota area. Sunflower Meal, 13 pct fiber, 34 pct 
protein was 10.00 to 25.00 lower from 250.00-310.00 in the North Dakota-Minnesota 
area. The Soybean Oil in Central Illinois was 362 to 387 points higher from 53.27-
53.52 cents per pound; Indiana-Ohio was 251 to 301 points higher from 53.27-53.52 
cents per pound; Iowa was 190 to 251 points higher from 53.27-54.66; Minnesota was 
201 to 240 points higher from 53.66-54.77 cents per pound. Crude Corn Oil in Central 
Illinois was 50 points higher at 44.25 cents per pound.

ANIMAL PROTEINS: Ruminant Meat and Bone Meal in the Central U.S. was steady at 
410.00; FOB the Texas Panhandle was 10.00 to 15.00 higher from 360.00-365.00; 
Minneapolis was steady to 10.00 higher from 300.00-385.00; St. Louis was not 
available; Portland FOB Northwest Plants was steady from 200.00-350.00; FOB Central 
and Northern California was not available; FOB Los Angeles was not available. Pork 
Meat and Bone Meal in the Central U.S. was 5.00 higher from 365.00-435.00; Eastern 
Corn Belt was at 430.00; Minneapolis was steady to 15.00 higher from 370.00-425.00, 
St. Louis was not available. Ruminant Blood Meal in the Central U.S. was steady to 
50.00 higher from 1025.00-1050.00; the Texas Panhandle was not available; Minneapolis 
was steady from 1000.00-1100.00; delivered to the San Joaquin Valley was steady at 
1150.00 in limited trade. Pork Blood Meal in the Central U.S. was at 1100.00, Eastern 
Corn Belt was at 1275.00; Minneapolis steady to 75.00 higher from 1125.00-1150.00. 
Feather Meal in Kansas City was steady to 5.00 higher from 565.00-580.00; Minneapolis 
was steady to 15.00 higher from 560.00-600.00 with an instance of 745.00; Arkansas 
was steady from 545.00-560.00; Mississippi was steady from 545.00-560.00. 

CORN FEEDS: Yellow Corn Hominy in Central Illinois was steady at 155.00 for rail, 
truck was 10.00 higher at 175.00; Kansas City (Northwest) was not available; St. 
Louis was not available; California rail was 18.00 higher at 243.00. Corn Gluten Feed 
in the Midwest (NE,IA,IL,IN) was steady to 10.00 higher from 170.00-195.00; Kansas 
City was 5.00 to 10.00 lower from 255.00-275.00; St. Louis was steady at 270.00, 
California was steady to 3.00 higher from 265.00-275.00. Corn Gluten Meal, 60 percent 
protein in the Midwest (IA, IL, IN) was steady to 10.00 to 20.00 higher from 630.00-
670.00; Kansas City was not available; St. Louis was steady at 735.00. Distillers 
Dried Grain prices in Iowa was mixed, 5.00 lower to 5.00 higher from 225.00-255.00; 
Eastern Cornbelt (IL, IN, OH, MI) was mixed 15.00 lower to 2.00 higher from 232.00-
255.00; Kansas was mixed, 10.00 lower to 5.00 higher from 240.00-255.00; Minnesota 
was 10.00 to 15.00 higher from 220.00-240.00; Nebraska was mixed, 1.00 lower to 5.00 
higher from 225.00-239.00; Wisconsin was steady from 225.00-235.00; South Dakota was 
mixed, 22.00 lower to 12.00 higher from 232.00-248.00; Missouri was mixed, 5.00 lower 
to 4.00 higher from 259.00-270.00; St. Louis was not available; California was 5.00 
to 15.00 lower from 295.00-305.00; Pacific Northwest mills were steady to 3.00 lower 
from 295.00-302.00.

WHEAT MILLFEEDS: Wheat Millfeeds in Buffalo, NY was 5.00 higher at 155.00; Kansas 
City was steady to 5.00 higher from 180.00-185.00; Minneapolis truck was 5.00 to 
10.00 higher from 140.00-165.00; St. Louis was 10.00 to 13.00 higher from 195.00-
205.00. Wheat Millrun delivered Portland was 5.00 higher at 260.00 in limited test; 
FOB Los Angeles mill was steady to 15.00 higher from 165.00-185.00.

OTHERS: In the south Rice Bran, Millfeed and Rice Hulls were mixed.  In California, 
Rice Bran and Rice hulls were steady. Alfalfa Meal prices were steady across the 
nation this past week.
